The cause of the drowning was disputed by all parties involved.  The insurance company(s) argued that a dangerous condition was not present and that the deceased caused her own death. Not all claims are crystal clear.  There are times when my clients must make tough decisions, considering whether the continuation of a claim places their family in a worse position.  Luckily, we were able to resolve this heavily disputed claim to the benefit of my clients.
