Things to keep in mind following a car accident

You just never know when another vehicle is going to slam into yours on the roadway. Florida highways can be extremely cluttered, busy places, and no matter how safe a driver you happen to be, there's not much you can do (if anything at all) about another motorist's actions. You may have already experienced situations where you narrowly averted disaster. Perhaps you noticed a car maneuvering erratically on the highway, so you kept your distance to avoid collision.

Distracted driving causes eight deaths each day

Yes, you read that correctly. On any given day, crashes involving distracted drivers take the lives of eight Americans. At least that's what the Center for Disease Control and Prevention estimates. If you multiply that number by the 365 days that make up a year, that's an estimated 2,920 people each year.

Emerald Coast Sees Car Crashes in High Volumes In Recent Weeks

I am not sure how this area can better serve our visitors and locals when we have such high traffic volumes. We are in the middle of summer and the roads are packed. The past several weeks were very busy for the area and the amount of car crashes showed how busy the area was.
